AWS PrivateLink

AWS PrivateLink regions

Epsagon exposes AWS PrivateLink endpoints in us-east-1.

This guide walks you through how to configure AWS PrivateLink for use with Epsagon.

The overall process consists of configuring an internal endpoint inside your VPC that the Epsagon tracing libraries can send data to. Your VPC endpoint then peers with the endpoint within Epsagon's VPC.

Create an endpoint in your AWS VPC console:

Choose Find service by name and paste com.amazonaws.vpce.us-east-1.vpce-svc-00c58b019d4e4cf95:

Hit verify, and then select your desired VPC and AZs, and make sure Enable DNS name is checked.
For security groups make sure to allow outbound of port 443.

Once created, wait for status to change to Available, and then you can update the tracing library with the new endpoint.
